Rosie Topp
Research & Development Associate
Rosie is a fourth-year student at the University of Toronto where she is studying statistics, mathematics and computer science. At the IJF, she mainly works in data validation and entity resolution for the Paper Trail database. In her studies, Rosie enjoys analyzing textual data, particularly in the realm of sociology. Recently, she worked on a research paper investigating how generative large language models classify text-based sexual education material in order to gain insight into what kind of language these models consider appropriate for younger audiences. Outside of work and school, Rosie can usually be found knitting, increasing her spice tolerance, or enjoying live music from local bands.
